How to use the T1 Workstation - The basics
I often get asked questions relating to using up the T1.
Based on the questions that I get asked over the years i have filmed a number of videos to help answer those questions:

Creating a setlist and combi disk. One of the key features of the T1 is the ability to build setlists based on combis that you specify for either your studio work or performances.
Several gotchas that you may encounter in the creation of your custom setlists or combis.
Remember that the topics discussed in the videos apply equally to all the workstations in the Korg T-Series range: Korg T1, Korg T2 and Korg T3.
The processes described are also the basic workflows for all the Korg workstations that followed.
With a T1 synthesiser is it all about Combi's, Programmes and Tones. The M1 started this pattern and while the implementation may have changes a bit this principle has continued through to this day on the Korg Workstation synths.
The T-Series extended the flexibility of the Combi's by allowing the musician to create a setlist / combi disk or series of setlist / combi disks for live performance and studio work.
This video covers the basic process to create a simple setlist / combi disk on your T-series synthesiser. The video uses my T1 synth, but the process is the same for the T2 and T3.

The power of the T-Series synthesisers and the T1 workstation is the ability to create performance sets in the form of setlist and combis to service them. Once you have created you performance set then you need to save these for future use.
