How to change the battery

The OASYS is a computer. But computers like keyboards have a battery on the board to power the part of the board that holds computer settings but not the synth settings that are held on the hard drive.

 

This is the process to change the battery on your OASYS. The batteries for the keyboard can be found following the link below.

 

The steps to add additional memory are also covered in this video. The correct memory for the OASYS can be obtained following the link below the video. It pops up from time to time on e-bay.

 

If you use the link for the OASYS (Used), any memory should come back in the results.

 

Note: This video was made shortly after I acquired the Korg OASYS and at this point I did not have the service manual. The video shows me removing the ends and then the silver back panel. In honesty you do not need to remove either. Just the screws underneath the keyboard should release the control panel that will flip up to allow access. You will still need something to prop the case open though.

But I am still getting an error message thrown to screen. There are a couple more actions that need to be undertaken.
